freeing X and XX

jostle . jostle . blink . brink . shuffle . slosh . enough . they're growing too large for their container . my two little terrapins neverendingly swimming to... their direct reflection . i promised them last night freedom . evening came . the first i lifted out stayed frozen to the ground unmoving . the 2nd dived right in to swallow as many pellets i'd gushed by the bank . moments of anticipating the delight of their discovery of a vast new ocean . a big Mumma of a terrapin (a Terrorpin Derrapin) coasted by . the one on the bank i inched in . it flickled its paws and rippled away, away, away. the other stopped eating, swam to the bank, sunk its little feet into the mud, stuck its little head out into the air, stared right at me solid. what a little time i've spent with them . such delight these sweet little beings . so small . such presence .
no shots . no vids.no memoirs . no names i projected onto them . from the squished tank where I found them at the aquarium store - to the wider universe of MacRitchie Reservoir .
when i go running, i'll know where they are.

"You can't bring that here!"...but the mrt superintendent kindly acquiesced after I demonstrated how I could fold this city machine into a hug-size metallic origami...commuting's a whiz! especially when i need to snatch a samosa in a little corner of little india.
